Activities

Every Wednesday morning the Womens Club sponsors a coffee social hour at the clubhouse. The “socializing” often starts by 8:30am but the official meeting begins at 9am. During this time, the Womens Club shares park resident news, introductions of new residents or visitors, results of weekly activities, information about upcoming events, a 50/50 raffle and sometimes even a joke or two. Donuts and coffee are available for purchase.

Bingo is scheduled weekly in the clubhouse at 6pm Monday evenings ( doors open at 5:15pm) and is available to Park residents and their guests. A variety of games are played including special Speed Ball, Lucky Ball, and a Split Pot game. Some Bingo players enjoy bringing homemade treats for everyone to sample during break time.

Once a week the bowlers meet to participate in the the “ 3-6-9 League” for seniors. Bowlers automatically score a strike in the 3rd, 6th, 9th frames and may win extra money in various ways. These winnings go into a “pot” for a team treat at the end of the season. Bowling is a “come as you wish” commitment at 9am (games start at 9:30am) on Tuesday mornings at Pin Chasers in Zephyrhills.

There are several opportunities in the clubhouse for those residents that enjoy playing cards.

Hand and Foot  –  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30pm
Bid Euchre  –  Friday and Sunday at 6:30pm

Golfers meet on Wednesdays at 12 noon at Southport Golf Course.
